Natural Uterine Fibroid Support

You will find natural uterine fibroid support in this article. Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths inside or outside of the uterus and may cause excessive or severe bleeding. Up to 30% of women experience uterine fibroids and 20% of these may need intervention. The growths may be so large as to displace other organs or interfere with proper functioning. Doctors often use surgery to remove large uterine fibroids.

Symptoms include severe bleeding, painful bleeding, pain in the pelvic region, headaches, backaches, irritable rectum and bladder, profuse vaginal discharges, especially watery. Stalk-like fibroids that extend into the pelvic cavity can cause pain, nausea, or fever. Larger uterine fibroids may be detected by a pelvic exam as they can grow to the size of a basketball. The size of the fibroids can cause some to the symptom to other organs as they grow. Brown spots on the face, especially around the mouth, may be an indication of uterine fibroids.

Menstrual irregularity, another symptom of uterine fibroids, may be caused by excessive estrogen production from chronic use of estrogen-containing drugs like birth control pills. When birth control pills are discontinued, regular cycles and fertility may ensue. Less than 1% of uterine fibroids become cancerous.

A release of melanotropin from the posterior pituitary can cause uterine fibroids. However, they are most commonly cause by chemical birth control and a diet heavy in meat, which is also high in estrogens.

A natural treatment begins with early elimination of chemical birth control and a vegetarian diet. Natural ways can be effective especially if treated early. If not severe, fibroids can diminish naturally at menopause when progesterone starts to drop off.

Natural Healing Protocol — First, choose an herb. Then add a cell salt or cell salt solution. Finally, choose the homeopathic remedy that fits your situation best. Combining supplements will do more to support your body’s ability to function properly than using just one. Your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time symptoms have been present.

Uterine Fibroid Homeopathic Remedies

Homeopathic remedies are non-toxic natural medicines safe for everyone including infants and pregnant or nursing women. You may use 6X, 30X, 6C or 30C potencies.

The following excerpt is from an article “Homeopathy, Rational Medicine,” by Dr. W.L. Balfour, M.D.:

“I believe that many uterine fibroids could be cured, if the homeopath was allowed to treat them. After all, a fibroid tumor is made up of muscle and varying amount of fibrous tissue. It is not malignant, burrowing into surrounding structures till firmly anchored therein. True, after a long time, an occasional fibroid may show signs of malignant degeneration, but they are harmless for many years. The lump of muscle, if not too big, should yield to homeopathy.”

Calcerea carb – obesity, itching burning genitals. Menses too early, too profuse, too long. Cold damp feet. Cutting pains in uterus during menstruation.

Phosphorus – spotting between periods. Menses early lasting too long. Vaginal discharge profuse, smarting, corrosive. Uterine polyps. Vagina numb.

Sepia – prolapsed uterus, bladder, or vagina, menses too late and scanty, or early and profuse; no sex drive. Irritable, isolation.
