Natural Colon Cleanse Remedies

Colon or Bowel Cleansing is controversial as some people advocate supporting the liver to detoxify the body and the colon will take care of itself.

IMPORTANT – Really Good digestion promotes a clean colon. When the system is shut down, there is constipation and a sense of sluggishness, especially in those who are heavy or hot. Then, a cleanse may be in order.

While laxatives can provide a temporary help for those who are traveling or have an interrupted schedule, chronic constipation should be addressed by looking at a cause. Causes can be physical inactivity, an irregular schedule, stress, liver problems, lack of adequate fiber, fruits and vegetables, and low water intake.

What you can do naturally

  • Drink 4 – 6 glasses of water a day
  • Take a heaping tablespoon of Psyllium husk fiber in 12 oz. of water twice a day
  • Walk 10 minutes at least twice a day
  • Have more relaxation and fun in your life!

Some essential nutritional supplements for moving and cleansing the colon: Magnesium malate can be very helpful as it pulls water into the bowel and physically moves food through. Psyllium husk fiber can also act as a cleanser. A lack of probiotics or friendly bacteria may also contribute to a healthier colon. You may want to try Nature’s Way Reuteri which puts the right bacterial flora back into your intestines.

Natural Healing Protocol — First, choose an herb. Then add a cell salt or cell salt solution. Finally, choose the homeopathic remedy that fits your situation best. Combining supplements will do more to support your body’s ability to function properly than using just one. Your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time symptoms have been present.
