Mononucleosis Natural Remedies

Use these mononucleosis natural remedies when this viral infection comes on quickly, along with swollen glands in the neck and a high temperature. It comes from the cytomegalovirus or Epstein Barr virus.

Symptoms include fatigue, exhaustion, sore throat and swollen glands of the neck. It can have symptoms of enlarged tonsils as well as rashes in about 20% of sufferers. Most people who experience mono are 10 to 40 years old, and most are women. Symptoms typically last several weeks to months and may develop into chronic fatigue symptoms.

Mono is transmitted through saliva and is thus the “kissing disease.” It is a weakness of the immune and lymphatic systems as a result of stress. From the medical viewpoint, they leave mononucleosis alone as there is no pharmaceutical treatment. Their strength is the diagnosis.

I learned about these mononucleosis natural remedies, and how mono is rather simple to clear up from my teacher Dr. Robin Murphy. He claimed that mono symptoms may go away in as little as two days using herbs and homeopathic remedies. I was skeptical, but the experience with my clients showed me it is possible in 2 to 7 days with most of the person’s strength recovered. It is just a weakness of lymphatic and immune function from stress and poor diet.

Supplementing with Pycnogenol may be helpful as it is a powerful anti-oxidant. Diet: make sure to eliminate alcohol, tobacco, coffee, caffeine, sodas and junk food.

Natural Healing Protocol — First, choose an herb. Then add a cell salt or cell salt solution. Finally, choose the homeopathic remedy that fits your situation best. Combining supplements will do more to support your body’s ability to function properly than using just one. Your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time symptoms have been present.
