Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) Natural Remedies

Chronic fatigue (CFS) is a debilitating disorder where the patient is plagued by overwhelming fatigue. Symptoms include chronic exhaustion, joint pains, sore throat, headaches, muscle aches, and glandular swelling. Common cause is unknown, and is often frustrating for sufferers. Modern medicine has very little answers and mostly prescribes rest. When pressed, they may prescribe stimulants.

The natural perspective of chronic fatigue is generally a stress response in over-achieving and perfectionist women; statistically those who are executive women in their 30s to 50s experience symptoms. This may also cause hypersensitivity to environmental conditions, often emotionally caused.

What you can do naturally is to start by cleaning up your diet, making sure you are free of tobacco, alcohol, coffee, black tea and diet products. Homeopathy and cell salts are often indicated because of hypersensitivity as they do not interact with other medications and are non-toxic.

Natural Healing Protocol — First, choose an herb. Then add a cell salt or cell salt solution. Finally, choose the homeopathic remedy that fits your situation best. Combining supplements will do more to support your body’s ability to function properly than using just one. Your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time symptoms have been present.
